Thieves nabbed with stolen property

The stolen property was hidden in the bushes by the railway line.

Two thieves were nabbed as they loaded stolen cushions and a sofa into a vehicle at the Adams Road traffic lights on Sunday, 22 April.

The Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO) said the stolen property was hidden in the bushes by the railway line.

A Blue Security reaction officer spotted them and called for assistance. The SAPS K9 unit arrived and the two were arrested for possession of suspected stolen property.
