Celebrate National Talk like Shakespeare Day

In Shakespeare's time, English was poetic and romantic.

APRIL 23, is the day when we all appreciate the work and brilliance of William Shakespeare, famous author, poet and playwright of our time.

What better way to celebrate than to talk like Shakespeare for a day.

Throughout the years, English has been changed and transformed thanks to the advancement in technology and the development of the language. Words have now become abbreviations such as BRB for be right back of ROTFL for rolling on the floor laughing.

In the time of Shakespeare, English was poetic and romantic. For example, Shakespeare talks about a rose the way we wish our better halves would describe us:  “O how much more doth beauty beauteous seem,  By that sweet ornament which truth doth give. The rose looks fair, but fairer we it deem.”
