War hero to motivate guests at MOTH event

The double amputee biker and war hero will share his stories and motivation with the crowds at Mills Bombs Shellhole in Warner Beach this Saturday afternoon.

MILLS Bomb Shellhole, Warner Beach will host world renowned guest speaker and inspiration, Dave Barr this Saturday, 14 April at 2pm.

Over time Dave has served in the armies of four different countries.

Serving for the American, South African, Rhodesian and Israeli armies over the years, Dave now resides in America. While attached to the South African Defense Force Pathfinder Platoon, he was involved in a landmine explosion and lost both his legs. After many operations, Dave became the first double amputee to circumnavigate the globe, travelling some 83,000 miles on his Harley Davidson.

The life he has lived this far has led Dave to become a highly sought after motivational speaker and author of numerous books. The community will have the chance to hear all the accomplished war hero and author has to share at tomorrow’s event at the Mills Bomb Shellhole.

Tickets are R100 which include a lunch, and organisers stipulate that booking prior to the event is essential. Dave’s books will be on sale at the event. To book your spot, contact Roelof on 082-564-2062 or Piet on 082-457-2512.
