WHILE Mayville Terrace residents slept last night, a gang of car thieves were thwarted in their attemps to steal a car in the Amanzimtoti road.
Just after midnight on Tuesday, 10 April, CCPO supervisors Michael Mkhize and Muzi Shezi caught two men who had attempted to steal a car in Mayville Terrace. They had in their possession sharpened allen keys which are commonly used in the theft of motor vehicles.
Unfortunately one suspect escaped in a getaway vehicle.
