ONE person died after being shot in Craigieburn, Umkomaas at about noon today (Tuesday, 3 April).
Events leading up to the incident are sketchy but police were at the scene and will investigate.
Armed with emergency medical support in hostile environments (EMSHE) training, VEMA along with ER24 paramedics ensured the scene was safe to approach for first responders.
When the Sun queried with VEMA about the gender of the shooting victim and the location and circumstances of the shooting, they would not be drawn on the matter. A query has been lodged with SAPS KZN media desk.
