A train driver ran into an abandoned car at a railway crossing as she was travelling towards Amanzimtoti at Umgababa earlier this morning.

Video footage released by Blue Security’s Andreas Mathios shows the train stationary against the SUV-style vehicle.
While details around the discovery are sketchy, Mathios said Umkomaas police are investigating a case of car theft.
Police responded to the scene.
WATCH:
It appears that no-one was injured during the incident. The vehicle appears to have been jostled by the train, although it remained on its wheels on the track by the time the train stopped against it.
