Young boy’s body recovered near Umkomaas River mouth

It is not known if the boy died in suspicious circumstances.

The body of an unidentified young boy was found near the Umkomaas River mouth on Tuesday afternoon, 6 March.

SAPS confirmed that police divers from Durban recovered the child’s body after being alerted by a passing train driver. It is not known if the boy died in suspicious circumstances. Police will investigate an inquest docket.
