Toti SPCA reunites two-month missing collie with delighted owners

Owner Michael Roberts was reunited with 'Bubbles' last week Tuesday, 27 February, his collie that went missing some two months ago, on New Years Eve.

THE disappearance of a beloved collie two months ago on New Year’s Eve, had led the owners to give up all hope of ever finding their beloved missing dog Bubbles.

This was until Amanzimtoti SPCA’s Tracey Girling noticed a stray picked up on Sunday, 25 February looked strikingly similar to one which was reported missing at the end of last year.

Amanzimtoti SPCA was delighted to have made such a fairytale reunion possible. When the stray was picked up by trainee inspector Luke Keyser near Galleria Mall and taken to the local shelter, Tracey recalled a devastated owner reporting their collie missing on New Year’s Eve.

Owner Michael Roberts last Tuesday, 27 February was overwhelmed to identify the stray as his Bubbles, as his family had thought Bubbles would never be seen again. No-one knows where the dog has spent the past two months, but everyone is beaming with delight that the owners and their dog could be reunited.
