Amanzimtoti network aims to use cellphone app to fight crime

With cellphone technology now making it possible to track the movements of a cellphone user, Amanzimtoti’s Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO) wants to gauge its members’ keenness to have a cellphone app which, at the push of a panic button, would do the following:

 

There would be a nominal fee per month, still to be determined, for members to have access to this cellphone app.
