Khanya Hospice urgently needs helping hands

If you can help sell raffle books, call Elaine on 039-973-0277.

Khanya Hospice is urgently looking for volunteers.

“We need volunteers who can help with fundraising events such as a women’s tea, fun run and so on,” said CEO, Neil McDonald. “We need volunteers in our shops, to receive and hang out clothes, to clean and do general work in a shop, and people to put money tins at various till points for us.

We also need people to help sell car raffle books of 25 tickets, or to donate R500 and take the book, which gives you 25 chances to win a new Toyota Etios. The draw takes place on Sunday, 8 April at DSB hall and we hope to have a full day of entertainment. We need to look at all avenues to generate some income.”

If you can help sell raffle books, call Elaine on 039-973-0277, or to volunteer, call Neil on 083-597-8985.
