Amanzimtoti pre-teen to pack a theatrical punch on world stage in 2018

This young, up-and-coming talent has clearly mastered the art of balance in his day to day life, while locking his focus into attaining his future goals.

AMANZIMTOTI’S very own stage star, Ethan Abrahamse (11) has a hectic year planned for 2018, with several opportunities to add to his list of accomplishments.

The Amanzimtoti Primary School pupil will be attending a boot camp at Paradeisos Adventure outside Pretoria in preparation for The Arts at Disney World, Florida where he will perform in July.

The stage presence’s climb to stardom doesn’t stop there. He will also attend a workshop at the New York Film Academy in New York City, which is not a first for him. In addition, he is working on his second short film, ‘Julie’s Romeo’ which should start production in late February.

On the local front, Ethan has been invited as an elite artist to guest perform at the Mzansi Arts Showcase in Johannesburg next month, which will be an unique experience of its own.

Over the festive season the local actor had great fun performing at the Playhouse in the acclaimed ‘A Christmas Celebration’ show alongside some big names including Dr Tumi.

Toti locals will also recognise Ethan from the recent television commercial he featured in for Bata Footwear. It can also be found on Youtube under the title, ‘BATA Footwear Commercial ft. Ethan Abrahamse’.

This dynamite youngster who seems tireless is, despite all his stage work and achievements, still a stellar achiever on the school front and is enjoying the pace of grade 6 at Amanzimtoti Primary.
