BREAKING NEWS: Plane crash-lands on Illovo Beach [PHOTOS]

The two occupants of the plane were uninjured

Residents of Illovo Beach’s Elizabeth Drive awoke on Saturday morning, 27 January to find a light, fixed-wing aeroplane had crash-landed on their sandy shores at about 7am.

Rescue Care paramedics responded but found the two occupants of the plane were uninjured.
This despite the plane having flipped over on the beach. It was found with its landing wheels in the air and the cabin door ajar.
