WEATHER WARNING: Thunderstorm heads towards South Coast

South Coast residents are warned to take immediate precautions for the fast approaching storm.

A severe weather warning has been issued by the South African Weather Service this afternoon, Tuesday, 23 January. South Coast residents are urged to take immediate precautions as a thunderstorm is fast approaching.

It was explained that while the storm will be short lived, residents should prepare for very strong wind gusts and heavy downpours.

The SAWS has observed on radar the storm moving east of Ixopo, towards Sezala and Umkomaas. The storm is fast moving.

Motorists in particular are advised to travel with extreme caution.
