Beware of Isipingo Hills mugger

Residents have been urged to be cautious after a woman was mugged on Azalea Place on Wednesday, 17 January.

The public has been warned to be on the lookout for a mugger on the prowl on the corner of Flamboyant and Azalea Place in Isipingo Hills.

This warning comes after a woman was mugged on Azalea Place on Wednesday, 17 January after she was accosted by a man in a blue coverall who grabbed her handbag and fled into the bushes. It is believed the woman was on her way to the nearby high school. The same man was spotted loitering in the area since the morning.

Parents and community members who pass through that vicinity are urged to be vigilant and cautious. Alpha Alarms cautioned parents on foot carrying cash who intend paying school fees to rather do EFTs or proceed to the school in the company of trusted family or friends.
