Man (46) stabbed on Winklespruit Beach

ER24 paramedics arrived to find the man had sustained stab wounds to his chest and arm

A 46-year-old man was stabbed between Winklespruit and Warner Beach, in front of the subway, on Friday night, 12 January.

At about 8pm, ER24 paramedics arrived to find the man had sustained stab wounds to his chest and arm.

According to ER24 spokesman, Annine Siddall, it is believed he was alone when he was approached by an unknown man armed with a knife.

He was attacked and later transported to Prince Mshiyeni Hospital for his moderate injuries.

It is understood he has since been discharged from hospital.
