Fifteen hurt when taxi, car collide on N2 opposite Galleria

Fifteen people sustained various injuries and more ambulances were dispatched to assist.

Fifteen people were injured after a taxi and a car collided on Saturday evening, 6 January on the N2 northbound near Galleria Mall just after 7pm.

Rescue Care advanced life support paramedic, Ceron Meadows said paramedics arrived to find a taxi and a car had collided before the taxi overturned, coming to rest on its side.

 

Fifteen people sustained various injuries and more ambulances were dispatched to assist. Once all the injured had been stabilised, they were transported to various Durban hospitals for further care.

The events leading up to the collision are unknown, however police were on the scene and will investigate further.
