BREAKING NEWS: Warner Beach diver dies

The details surrounding this incident are not yet known.

A man believed to be in his 60s was pronounced dead this morning (Monday, 18 December) following a diving incident at Warner Beach.

ER24 spokesman, Russel Meiring said paramedics arrived at the beach at about 9am and were informed that a diving boat was bringing a patient to the beach. The man was found lying inside, motionless. Paramedics and lifeguards assessed the man and found he showed no signs of life.

“CPR and advanced life support interventions were immediately initiated in an effort to revive the patient. Unfortunately, after some time, no vital signs returned and the man was pronounced dead,” said Meiring.

The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigation.
