Combat frizzy hair this summer

Have sleek and frizz-less hair this summer with these tips

Now that winter is over and we can say goodbye to static hair, we have a new headache in the form of frizzy hair.

Hair is known to get frizzy in humid and moist air, the kind of hot air we South Africans live through, so what can be done to stop the frizz? Here are a few steps you must never forget:

REMEMBER TO:

  1. Choose a sulfate-free, glycerin-packed shampoo.
  2. Don’t skip conditioner.
  3. Twice a week, use only conditioner on your hair instead of shampooing it.
  4. Use a hydrating mask once a week.
  5. Let your hair dry 90 percent of the way before you blow-dry.
  6. Brush your hair regularly to help distribute its natural oils.
