Animal dinner fund buoyed by donations

The fund is well on its way to eclipsing last year’s record contribution.

As we head closer to Christmas, this year’s Animal Dinner Fund has received another fantastic boost of R5,000 courtesy of Mercia Spain.

Mercia donated ‘in memory of my Buddy and all my other pets who filled my life with indescribable love and companionship. To those little ones less fortunate, I hope others will think of them this Christmas’.

Her generosity is supported by R200 from Gary and Joan Walker ‘in memory of Curly and Bambi’, R500 from Marion Cillie ‘thanks for my Whoopie and JoJo who give me so much joy!’, R200 from Kaylee, R500 from Valerie Botes ‘in loving memory of all my wonderful pets’, R350 from Ann and Charles Swart ‘on behalf of all our loved pets both past and present’, R300 from Wendy-Anne Bole, R500 from Virginia and Tubby ‘in loving memory of our cat Tom. We miss you boy’, R850 from Sheba and Tinks and R200 from Sean, Charnette and Lorelai ‘in memory of our lost, loved babies’.
