THE Wives Club, which meets every month in Amanzimtoti is planning a year-end dinner function.
The event takes place at the Karridene Hotel on Friday, 8 December from 6pm to 9.30pm.
The dinner will round off what has been a year of growth for the newly formed group. The Wives Club was initiated by Toti local, Nonhlanhla Makhanya who thought it prudent to provide a forum of support to young wives in their roles as torchbearers for strong families.
The October and November meetings went well, with the audience addressed by dynamic speakers, with Mama Rebecca taking the lead in October and Mama Mathabo in November. Their messages empowered and emancipated the wives, mothers and women.
