Teen girl drowns at Warner Beach

The attempts by Netcare 911 paramedics to resuscitate her proved unsuccessful.

The state mortuary has removed the body of a girl who drowned at Warner Beach this afternoon (Saturday, 4 November).
It is understood she had been swimming in the area to the left of the tidal pool and the rocks, when she was caught up in a rip current.

While initial details are sketchy, this story will be updated as further information comes to hand.
Her body was removed at about 5pm.
