Kingsburgh Welfare urgently needs donations

We appeal to individuals and families to donate items of clothing or non-perishable food.

Kingsburgh Welfare is in urgent need of donations of clothing and food.

“With the country in the grips of an economic crisis, unemployment, poverty and low income is the order of the day,” said chairman, Jenny Smith.

“We appeal to individuals and families to donate items of clothing or non-perishable food as part of a fundraising initiative for Welfare.

The principle of teaching social responsibility to children and individuals is also part of our family preservation programme.

We are not government or Lotto-funded at present and we therefore rely on you, the public, to keep our doors open.”

Anyone willing to donate can call Jenny or Sandra on 031-916-2274.
