TUESDAY, 10 OCTOBER: The next meeting of Amanzimtoti Women’s Institute (WI) starts at 9.15 am in the activities room adjacent to the library at Toti Civic Centre. All are welcome. For enquiries, call Yvonne Dixie 031-903-1942.

 

MONDAY, 9 OCTOBER: The last SAARP monthly meeting for the year takes place at Toti library’s activities room from 9.30am to about 11.30am. A R3 entrance fee applies. Patrick Parker will speak about ‘Deep pockets and long arms’. Everyone is welcome. Members are reminded to pay for the end of year lunch on this day. Colour theme: Green/red and white. WEDNESDAY, 25 OCTOBER: The 21 Club AGM takes place at 11.30am for noon followed by the usual lunch at Lords and Legends conference room.

 

FRIDAY, 7 DECEMBER: Probus Amanzimtoti social club’s Spring meeting takes place on at 9.30am for 10am in the safe and tranquil surroundings of the Umbogavango Nature Reserve in Umbogintwini. An interesting speaker will be provided. For the bring-and-braai afterwards, take your own cups, meat, salads and refreshments. Interested visitors are asked to call Sharon-Ann Theron during working hours on 083-312-5360. New members and visitors should check their names on the gate security list to ensure access to the reserve.
