Six injured in Isipingo Hills head-on collision

Six people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

Six people were injured this morning (Monday, 28 August) in a head-on collision between a bakkie and light motor vehicle at the Jacaranda and Protea Road intersection in Isipingo Hills.

“Shortly before 8am, paramedics arrived on the scene to find both vehicles in the middle of the intersection,” said ER24 spokesman, Russel Meiring.

“Occupants had already climbed out of the vehicles and were walking around on the scene.

Paramedics found that six people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Fortunately, there were no serious or fatal injuries.”

Patients were treated for their injuries and transported to different hospitals by various emergency services.

Local authorities were on scene to investigate the cause of the collision.
