Toast to Kingsburgh Welfare’s successful high tea

Welfare is looking for energetic volunteers to help in its charity shop.

Kingsburgh Child Welfare thanks the Amanzimtoti public for supporting its high tea Denim and Diamonds fundraiser on Saturday, 12 August.

“Our sincere thanks to all who contributed to make this a great success,” said chairman, Jenny Smith.

“Rev Peter Butterworth had us all spellbound on how he interpreted the theme into our everyday lives and Rev Andrew Manning was the perfect master of ceremonies.

A great thank you to St Mary’s Anglican Church for the use of its facilities, and to Josh on guitar, singer Jamie Manning, dancers Ian and Truitjie, and Caryn Harveys Dance Studio for the entertainment.”

Kingsburgh Child Welfare looks forward to hosting another high tea next year.
