Man flees with jewellery after Isipingo robbery

A bloodied latex glove was found hanging on the kitchen gate.

A robber escaped with an undisclosed amount of jewellery via the kitchen gate at an Isipingo Rail residence on Thursday, 27 July.

The housebreaker fled when he spotted an Alpha Alarms Response Officer who responded to the scene within minutes of the alarm activation.

According to the Alpha Response team, three vehicles responded to the scene and the officers searched for the suspect.

A Samsung TV was found wrapped and dropped outside while a bloodied latex glove was found hanging on the kitchen gate.

Police were alerted to the house robbery.
