A couple in separate vehicles was hijacked in a double hijacking at Pipeline Beach in Amanzimtoti on Monday night, 24 July.
The couple was confronted by five men, two of whom were armed, and both of their vehicles – a white Toyota Auris and red VW – were taken.
The couple was taken with the vehicles and assaulted, before being dropped off in Umlazi.
