Residents help apprehend housebreaker in CBD

The thief stole two laptops after breaking into a Rockview Road premises.

Members of the public united to help the CCPO and police apprehend a housebreaker in the CBD today (Thursday, 20 July).

The thief stole two laptops after breaking into a Rockview Road premises at about noon.

He was chased by the CCPO, Blue Security – Durban and Metro K9 unit members, Shawn Jooste and Jevon China.

He ran into the CBD, where members of public saw him being chased and apprehended him.

The CCPO thanks the members of the public who assisted.
