SPCA dogs no longer in quarantine

The animals are now able to be visited by the public and walked by the many devoted volunteers.

THE Amanzimtoti SPCA has announced its dogs are no longer in quarantine.

A previous spout of kennel cough forced the local shelter to stop all interaction with the dogs.

Manager, Tracey Girling was delighted to announce that the previously quarantined animals are now able to be visited by the public and walked by the many devoted volunteers.

“I have great delight in letting everyone know that our kennel cough is now very much under control,” said Tracey. “The animals responded well to the medication but did hate being quarantined. They are ready for visits and walks again and keen to become a part of a loving family.”

Tracey thanks the community for their patience, understanding and for sending good wishes to the many furry babies.
“We are so very lucky to have such a supportive community,” she said.
