Sardines reach Rocky Bay

The sardines seem to be playing hard to get today.

Some good Monday morning news – the sardines are still around and have put in an early morning appearance at Rocky Bay where two boats are currently in the water.

It is believed by some experts that the shoal that came past last week took two to three full days to pass and those will only reach the KZN shores towards the latter part of this week.

Last Thursday there was some netting at Toti Main Beach and Umgababa saw some action on Saturday morning..

The sards seem to be playing hard to get today with many big shoals lying too deep to be netted.
