Shoals of sardines netted at Scottburgh beach

It is believed over 100 crates were bagged at Scottburgh beach.

The sardines are (almost) here.

It is believed over 100 crates of the elusive little silver fish were bagged at Scottburgh beach this morning (Wednesday, 21 June).

Unconfirmed reports have been received of another big baitball on the way from the Pennington area heading north to Amanzimtoti.

Scores of the elusive little silver fish were bagged this morning.

 

The shark nets at Umgababa were lifted this morning with Winklespruit, Warners, Toti and Pipeline scheduled for Thursday and Friday.

Bathing at all beaches is banned with immediate effect.

This in light of the annual sardine run with netting at Scottburgh on Wednesday morning.
