Diligent work from the CCPO led to the arrest of an alleged murderer on Monday, 19 June.
The youth, who said he is 17 years old, is well-known to the CCPO and has been apprehended by the crime fighting organisation before.
He was spotted in Eland Avenue by CCPO and Blue Security patrol officer, Mbuyiselo ‘Triple M’ Mdunjane and then in Somerset Place.
He was picked up and taken to the Amanzimtoti detectives.

“He confessed to two break-ins, where entry was gained through the roof,” said CCPO committee member, George Snodey.
“One of the detectives recognised his name and it was found he was wanted for murder.”
He allegedly murdered a security officer while in a place of safety in Pinetown.
He was arrested by the detectives.
