Two suspected ATM scamsters, a man and a woman, were arrested by Metro Police and Umlazi SAPS on Saturday morning, 10 June after a high speed chase from Clairwood which ended on the Umbumbulu Road.
An Alpha Alarms Response Unit joined the chase in Isipingo and assisted when the criminals flipped their vehicle, a Golf 5.
The scammers mowed down a pedestrian during the chase. PT Ambulance Service attended to the injured person.
