A thief was caught by Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO) supervisor, Jason Hewitt and his crew on Sunday, 11 June. It is believed the thief had stolen angle grinders in his possession.
A neighbour noticed the man jump over a fence in Inyoni Crescent in Amanzimtoti and contacted the organisation.
The thief was caught on the corner of Kingsway and Inyoni Crescent.
A case has been opened. The man was detained at Amanzimtoti SAPS.
