Unique birthday celebrations are Ishani’s ‘cup of tea’
Ishani is already planning her cow girl themed party for next year.
To stand out from the crowd, a young Amanzimtoti girl opted to celebrate her eighth birthday with a high tea on Saturday, 3 June.
Amanzimtoti Primary School pupil, Ishani Juggernath said since all her friends have had their birthday parties at all the available venues in Toti, she thought that having something different would be nice.
Her friends from school, as well as family friends were invited and asked to dress up for the special occasion.
“I liked the way it was set up and my parents had a photo booth. There were lots of fun things for my friends and I,” said the little birthday girl. “There was also dancing for us. It was the best.”
Ishani’s mother, Melanie Maharaj said she always requests for unusual birthday parties and she is already planning her cow girl themed party for next year.
