Police and emergency services are currently at the scene of a multiple shooting in Isipingo, where three people have died.
Five people were seriously injured while another person is critical. Police are searching for the gunman in the informal settlement opposite the Pilgrim railway station where the shootings took place.
The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown at this stage.
