TODAY is Wine Day!
Oh, do I need to add more? Okay, this annual event is celebrated in the US on 25 May in honour of that great grape-flavoured beverage.
Coincidentally, 25 May is also my birthday, so there is much reason to raise a glass in celebration.
So, grab a glass, watch the sunset and celebrate Wine Day.
If you aren’t a wine connoisseur, use these terms from dummies.com at your next gathering to impress your friends:
Aroma or bouquet: The smell of a wine
Body: The apparent weight of a wine in your mouth
Crisp: A wine with refreshing acidity
Dry: Not sweet
Tannic: A red wine that is firm and leaves the mouth feeling dry
