Hone your artistic skills at creative evening

The local art gallery will have well-known Zelda Coetzer teaching new artists how to churn out their very own masterpieces.

ASPIRING artists are invited to join the informal creative evening at the Art on Kingsway Gallery on Friday, 5 May from 5.30pm until 8pm.

The local art gallery will have well-known Zelda Coetzer teaching new artists how to churn out their very own masterpieces.

With no previous experience needed, the evening promises to be light-hearted and fun as creative juices are encouraged to flow.

“We’ve had so many conversations with the visitors of our gallery, who say that they would love to be able to paint,” said Patricia McCann.”This evening will allow them the opportunity to complete an acrylic painting of flowers that they can take home with them the same evening.”

Demonstrating artist, Zelda Coetzer has been offering lessons in Amanzimtoti for over 20 years. The well-known artist will be guiding newbies through the experience of making their own unique masterpiece, as her free style of painting captures the gentleness of floral arrangement extremely well.

The gallery is situated along Kingsway at the Caltex Oasis garage, 458 Kingsway (Andrew Zondo Road). Free parking is available.

This is an exclusive event and only 10 people will be accommodated. The canvases, paint and paintbrushes will be supplied and there will be wine, juice and light snacks provided. If you’re interested, call Hazel on 084-305-3481 or Patricia on 082-824-7990 for cost details.

Depending of the success of the evening, this may become a monthly event.
