Security guard shot several times in Reunion

The security guard stopped at a building and exited his vehicle when two gunmen appeared

A security guard sustained multiple gunshots to his lower extremities at about 5.30am on
Saturday morning, 22 April.

Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a shooting report in the Isipingo Reunion area, where a security guard had stopped at a building and exited his vehicle when two gunmen appeared and shot him multiple times.

They found the guard had sustained multiple gunshot wounds in his lower extremities and stabilised the seriously wounded man before transporting him to hospital under the constant care of a Netcare 911 advanced life support paramedic.
