Man’s body found on R102

The man appeared to be in his early 60s and is believed to be an Illovo Beach local.

The body of a man was discovered on the R102 in between Illovo Beach and Winklespruit at about noon on Wednesday, 19 April.

The CCPO responded to a call-out.

Details are sketchy, but the man appeared to be in his early 60s, is believed to be an Illovo Beach local and no foul play is suspected. However, the body was not moved until Toti SAPS responded to investigate the cause of death.
