  1. ST Winifreds Methodist Church opened its doors to those wishing to protest peacefully, and send their prayers and good thoughts to the country’s decision-makers on Friday morning, 7 March.

2. Her Worship, eThekwini Mayor Zandile Gumede tabled her maiden draft budget for the 2017/18 financial year.

3. Amanzimtoti model Jan Strydom returned from Talent Africa nationals with an armful of medals while representing team KZN. He won the senior male face of Talent Africa, six gold, a silver and three bronze medals for modelling, and bronze medals for drama and dancing.
