Artists to undertake collaborative project

USCAA hopes as many members as possible will attend.

THE Upper South Coast Art Association will hold its monthly meeting on 15 April at the activities hall in Amanzimtoti library.

The artists will start with a drawing session beginning at 9am and ending at about noon.

Participants will be required to take along the following equipment – paper, pencils and graphite pencils if they have. No colours, purely black and while. There is no charge for this session.

The afternoon session, which begins at 1.30pm, will be devoted to collaborative art which USCAA hopes as many members as possible will attend.

Together, artists will be completing three works of art each and everyone is expected to make a contribution to the overall effect of the pictures and are urged to take along references of flowers, birds, fish, animals, trees or whatever they think would fit into a picture. The whole exercise should take about an hour, after which finishing touches will be made to the creations and hopefully USCAA can raise funds for a charity.

There is a small charge for the afternoon session and for refreshments.
