Amanzimtoti bands to grace Splashy stages this weekend

Over this long weekend two popular local bands along with many Toti-ites will represent the South Coast against a backdrop of the scenic southern Drakensberg.

FOR over two decades, Underberg’s popular Splashy Fen Music Festival has seen thousands of people from all over the country heading off to the KZN mountains over Easter.

Over this long weekend two popular local bands along with many Toti-ites will represent the South Coast against a backdrop of the scenic southern Drakensberg.

Amanzimtoti’s very own popular bands, Alimho and Storm and Gus Brown Band will share their sweet melodies in the mountains.

Gus Brown’s vocalist, Gavin Welsh, will be celebrating his wedding beside the iconic Splashy Fen river on Saturday morning at 9am. This will be the first ever official Splashy wedding.

With cold wet weather predicted over the weekend, Splashy Fen goers ensure they pack their fleeciest clothing and weather proof gumboots.

Alhimo and Storm tune in to set the mood at Splashy Fen this year.

Keeping it fresh as usual, festival-goers look forward to a four-day line-up of the very best in South African music, with loads of exciting new developments thrown in for good measure!
