1. Johan Lombard didn’t even know he was having a heart attack. Fortunately for him, security guard Aaron Mngadi (55) of Servest was on duty in the undercover parking garage.

2. Ward 97 councillor, Andre Beetge announced that illegal signage will not be tolerated in Amanzimtoti.

3. After years of multiple postponements, the Western Cape High Court case for the legalisation of cannabis in South Africa reached the verdict that the plant’s prohibition in South Africa is ‘unconstitutional’.

4. A 15-year-old boy was killed when a fire broke out in a home in the Illovu Section B settlement on Friday morning, 7 April.

5. Durbanites across the city have gathered in various spots in support of the #Zumamustfall protest on Friday, 7 April.
