Bodyboarding trials roll onto Winkle, Warner beaches

Organisers encourage all ocean lovers to 'bring the stoke' by entering or supporting the local talent, making it a day of fun in the sun.

CALLING all bodyboarders – join in as the Southern Kwa-Zulu Natal Bodyboarding Association (UBA) hosts its first round of trials on Sunday, 9 April.

Competitors are asked to meet at Winkle beach at 7am. From there they will ‘roam’ between Winkle and Warner Beach, finding the better break for the day’s event.

Those interested can contact Heino Nel on 072-900-5818. Latecomers can enter on the day.

The following three rounds of UGUBA trials will take place on 30 April, 28 May and 11 June. The exact breaks will be announced on Instagram and Facebook pages closer to the time.
