Learn how to save lives this Easter

This will be extremely beneficial to members of our community and holidaymakers.

A Save A Life campaign will be held at Galleria Mall on Thursday, 13 April, where nursing and trauma staff will demonstrate CPR and other related demonstrations.

“This is an exciting campaign that will be extremely beneficial to members of our community and holidaymakers who will be in town during the Easter break,” said Netcare Limited marketing officer, Liziwe Ntikinca.

The campaign takes place at the entertainment area on the upper level of Galleria Mall from 9am to 7pm and is open to anyone 10-years and older.

No booking is needed and it won’t take longer than 10 or 15 minutes.

CPR, choking and any other medical-related queries will be addressed.

“We see a number of drownings, heart attacks and choking incidents during the holidays where people have no idea what to do,” said Netcare 911 media liaison officer, Chris Botha. “Successful early CPR has proven it can be effective in saving lives.”
