1. R11,5-bn Amanzimtoti auto supplier park revved for 2020 opening

A PROGRESS report on the development of a massive automotive supplier park on a 1,000 hectare site on the Illovo River banks indicates that the largest government-driven project planned for the south in at least the last decade is on track for construction to begin in July 2019.

 

2. Fun galore planned for #HighlandGathering

THE behind-the-scenes planning for the Highland Gathering, which is only a short four weeks away, is gathering momentum.

 

3.Monkey activist to have shooter prosecuted for baby’s death

Monkey Helpline’s Steve Smit was horrified when he was confronted with a three-and-a-half-month-old baby monkey which died after being shot with a lead pellet from an air gun on Sunday, 26 March.

5.BREAKING NEWS: Illegal netters bagged on Illovo River

Swift work by Illovo Beach community security service’s Gary van Sluis saw two illegal gill netters collared on the Illovo River on Thursday morning, 30 March.
