Biker dies in Kingsway crash
He came off the bike, which came to a stop about 70m away
A motorcyclist died following a crash at the corner of Kingsway and Umdoni roads this afternoon (Saturday, 18 March).
The man is believed to have been travelling northbound on Kingsway at about 2pm when he lost control of the bike at the Umdoni Road intersection.
It is believed no other vehicles were involved.
He came off the bike, which came to a stop about 70m away. Netcare 911 paramedics started resuscitation efforts for a lengthy period but despite their best efforts, he died at the scene.
