Police search for missing Toti sex worker

She was last seen with a client under the bridge in the CBD

AMANZIMTOTI police appeal to the community to assist in locating a missing woman, Sindisiwe Maphumulo (35) who was last seen on 22 January at about 9.30pm.

It is alleged she is a sex worker and was last seen with a client under the Amanzimtoti river bridge.

She has a dark complexion, black dreadlocks and is of average build. She was wearing a brown skirt, white jacket and pink sandals.

The reason for her disappearance is unknown.

“We appeal to anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact Constable Nondumisa Mncwabe at Amanzimtoti SAPS on 031 913 1394 during office hours or our  Crime Stop number on 08600-10111,” said Amanzimtoti SAPS spokesman, Captain Charlene van der Spuy.
