Motorbike, car collide on N2 at Prospecton
Paramedics found the badly damaged bike and vehicle on opposite sides of the road
There were fortunately no fatalities in a crash between a biker and a which car collided on the N2 South before the Joyner Road off-ramp at Prospecton on Friday night (3 February).
Just after 9.30pm, Rescue Care paramedics responded to the serious collision, where they found the badly damaged bike and vehicle on opposite sides of the road. The car had overturned and rolled several times, coming to rest on its wheels.
The biker and the two occupants of the vehicle sustained moderate injuries and were stabilised by advanced life support paramedics at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital.
Police will investigate the cause of the collision.
